The Turkish towel set in organic cotton, is in a set of two, measuring 80×150 and 50x90cm. The towels are GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified, meaning they are produced under strict environmental requirements and standards. The towels are sand colored with 2 borders in jacquard pattern and have short fringes.

This inspiring sand colored Turkish towel set is decorated with lovely jacquard borders at the top and at the bottom. The borders have black and red motifs in a beautiful ethnic style and short fringes at the bottom. The towel set is made from 100% organic cotton and is flat woven at the front and in terry cloth at the back. This combination creates a unique design, blending the traditional hammam style towel – peshtemal and the regular terry cloth – thus producing a both lightweight and ultra-absorbent towel in a soft and durable quality.

The towels are GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified, which means they are made without hazardous chemistry and therefore safe to use – also for the sensitive or allergic skin. Furthermore, the GOTS label ensures that the whole “life cycle “of the product has been subject to the strictest environmental requirements from the first seed throughout cultivation, processing, storing and transportation. Also, social and ethical criteria have to be met in the area of fair and hygienic working conditions, no child labor and reasonable pay.

Further information
Unlike conventional cotton, GOTS certified organic cotton has not been treated with special shrink resistant chemistry. As cotton can shrink at high temperatures, it is recommended that you use lower temperatures for both washing and drying. The towels can be washed at 40 degrees with a short spin and tumbled dried at a low temperature. Bleach should be avoided.  Note: In many countries they use cold water detergents for lower washing temperatures, thereby also benefitting the environment.
